There are over 150 cellar doors in the region! And there are many varieties of places to suit everyone, literally. The region is home to some world-class commercial wineries as well as incredible family-owned boutique wineries. The chocolatier is fantastic! There’s a distillery if you want to try something different and a couple of breweries that cater to beer and cider lovers! MORNINGTON PENINSULA

If you love beautiful beaches, wine, walking, sightseeing, and having an epicurean adventure- the Mornington Peninsula is the place to visit.

Red Hill is predominantly a wine and foodie region, home to some exquisite boutique wineries and restaurants.

Other places of interest would be Portsea and Sorrento, which are charming seaside towns that are perfect to roam around during the Summer.

Activities of interest might include horseback riding on the beach and Dolphin and Seal sightseeing/swim.

Take a look at our Mornington Winery tour for more details. The entire itinerary may be completely tailored around your interests.

PHILLIP ISLAND

Who wouldn’t love to see the world’s smallest penguins in their thousands waddle along the beach?!

Although this attraction operates almost everyday of the year, Summer is certainly the warmest time of the year (unless you don’t mind the cold!).

This is a highly visited destination because it’s one of the only places in the world where you can see this particular species of the penguins do their march!

This day usually gets incorporated with visiting an animal sanctuary where you can get interactive with kangaroos, wallabies, and koalas, followed by a visit to a gorgeous heritage property on Churchill Island- here, you can see demonstrations such as sheep shearing, then a short but extremely scenic boardwalk along the cliffs at Seal Rocks, before ending your night with a big bang- the Penguin Parade!

MELBOURNE CITY

If you’re in Melbourne for a short time, such as coming off a cruise ship for the day or waiting for a connecting flight that night, you will regret not seeing Melbourne City! It has been voted the world’s most livable city 7 years in a row! The city is extremely diverse with culture and this reflects in our cuisine! The architecture in Melbourne is so unique with an array of historic stone buildings from the 1800’s mixed with some very modern, artistically-designed buildings. The city is filled with an abundance of bars, cafes, boutiques, world-class restaurants, you name it! Our city tour is usually a half day thing that takes around 3-4 hours. GREAT OCEAN ROAD

Nature lovers, look no further! Even if you’re not into nature, this region is going to turn you into a nature lover! It’s one of the most scenic drives in the world. It is a longer day than your average 8 hours, but it’s so eventful- full of the most beautiful sights featuring aqua blue ocean, rock pools, gigantic cliffs, wildlife (in the wild!!!), rainforest with some of the tallest trees in the world, and more gigantic cliffs and stacks! Words cannot describe the immense beauty of this place. You must see it for yourself. For details about this tour, please take a look at our Great Ocean Road tour. We also have a shorter version, known as our “Express Tour” for those who don’t have much time.
